Tarangire National Park and Elephant Encounters
- After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park. It has a diverse landscape with nine vegetation zones. The baobab trees, the largest trees in Africa, dominate the vast landscape and overshadow the animals that reside beneath them. The Tarangire River meanders through the park and attracts abundant wildlife, from elephants, lions, leopards, buffalos, zebras, giraffes, and antelopes to various colourful birds. This park is very famous for having the greatest elephant population in Tanzania.
- During your safari, have the chance to observe many families of elephants interacting quietly, with a stop for a picnic lunch at an observatory inside the park where you can see animals drinking water in the river, and sometimes lions attacking a thirsty zebra or a wildebeest.
Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
