Ushuaia City
The tour starts with the pick up at your hotel in Ushuaia from where you will have a half hour transfer to Llanos del Castor, the winter center where you will do 3 outdoor activities, always guided by trained staff. We will be waiting for you with a warm beverage and a traditional snack while the guides give you a short briefing about how the day is going to develop.
Ushuaia Forest
In the first activity the adrenaline rises in a fun circuit with snowmobiles through the beautiful snow-covered forest. It doesn't matter if you have no experience, the trained staff will give you instructions so that you can drive the vehicle. There will be two people on each snowmobile and in the middle of the circuit there will be a change of drivers so that both of you can drive it. If you are over 18, you can drive one of them, if not a specialized guide can drive you around the paths of the forest.
Snowshoeing
Then, the next activity consists of a snowshoe hike over a frozen peat bog. You will always be accompanied by a guide who will explain the characteristics of the surrounding landscape and tell you about the beaver, an animal introduced in Tierra del Fuego that is currently being eradicated.
Mountain Refuge Ushuaia
Once you finish the activities, we will be waiting for you inside of a mountain refuge to enjoy a traditional meal. Drinks such as water, soft drinks or wine are included.
Ushuaia City-Drop off to hotels
After lunch, you will return to your hotel in Ushuaia in the assigned vehicle.
