Experience one of Buenos Aires’ most iconic traditions with an evening at El Querandí, a historic tango venue in San Telmo, the birthplace of tango. This 3-hour experience combines the atmosphere of a classic tango house with live music, elegant dancing, and the spirit of the city’s most famous art form.

Depending on the option selected, enjoy a three-course dinner with beverages before the performance, or arrive for the show only. During the performance, a live string quartet, four dancing couples, and two singers bring the history of tango and Buenos Aires to life in a memorable night out.

You’ll hear some classic tango pieces from the string quartet and see incredible precision and passion among the four onstage dancing couples.

The itinerary

Day 01

El Querandi Tango Show

7:30-8:30 pm: We’ll get your evening started by picking you up from your hotel in our comfy minibus. We’ll pass Recoleta, Microcentro, Palermo and Puerto Madero as we head over to the historic barrio of San Telmo: the birthplace of tango.
9 pm: Upon sitting down for dinner, you’ll be presented with a variety of Argentine and international dishes to choose from. You and your group will have your table to give you a bit of intimacy in which to enjoy this three-course meal and, of course, some wine (optional).
10:15 pm: After dinner, the show begins! You’ll hear some classic tango pieces from the string quartet and see incredible precision and passion among the four onstage dancing couples.
Two singers will tell you about the history of tango and of Buenos Aires itself, as well as singing some beautiful pieces.
Around 11:30 pm: Our evening will come to a close as we drop you back at your hotel around midnight.

The pick up transfer is only from selected centrally located hotels. If your hotel is outside the geographic area, we will confirm you the closest meeting point.
