- Pick up from the hotel at 02:00 in an air-conditioned vehicle and drive to Cairo. The road to Cairo from Hurghada takes 6 hours.
- First, visit the Egyptian National Museum – this is the main repository of all the antiquities of this country. Discover a lot of new, interesting and mysterious facts of Egyptian civilisation. You will have the opportunity to see the golden treasure of the famous pharaoh Tutankhamon. The museum presents the most ancient mummies, as well as more than 150,000 exhibits.
- Take a break and fuel your energy with a delicious lunch in the restaurant (buffet).
- See how Papyrus was used as a writing material as early as 3,000 BC in ancient Egypt and continued to be used to some extent until around 1100 AD. Papyrus still exists in Egypt today but in a greatly reduced number.
- Drive to Giza city, the second part of your trip to the pyramids!
- Visit Giza plateau to see the only wonder surviving – the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Khafre and grandson Menkaure.
- Marvel at the Sphinx, the only statue of such a large size carved from solid rock.
- Conclude with a visit to the factory of oils where you will discover the beauty secret of the ancient Egyptians and a huge variety of aromas of perfume oils.
