Day by day
You will be transferred from the airport/bus terminal to the Hotel.
The Park is located 11 km away from the city. We will be able to appreciate lakes, lagoons and rivers within its limits and their exit towards Beagle Channel. Departing from Maipu Avenue, we will head towards the southwest by the national route 3 and drive out of the city passing by the slope of the Susana Mount, witness of the work of the prisoners of the old prison, where now the Southern Fuegian Railway is located. Here we will stop for this optional tour.
Continuing through the valley to the deviation that will take us to the Ensenada Bay, we will be able to contemplate the Redonda and Estorbo Islands and on the other coast of the Channel of Beagle, the snow-white Mountains of the Sampaio Chain (Chile). Back again on the national route 3 with the fuegian forest and its flora close to the road we will go to the Roca Lake to do a long walk by the lake coast and by the Lapataia river, originated in the lake. From this point we will be able to see the Cóndor Hill natural border with Chile. We will go towards the other end of the Park, where route 3 ends at Lapataia Bay, on the way to the mentioned bay we will observe the Green Lagoon and the Black Lagoon, large growing peat bog. Finally we will pass by the beaver dams, whose footpath will lead to Lapataia Bay.
The tour will begin with the transfer from your hotel of Ushuaia to the Tourist Port "Don Eduardo Arturo Brisigheli", where we will board the boat. As we move away from the coast, we will be able to see incredible panoramic views of the whole city and its most important buildings, in addition to a combination of sea and mountains, highlighting the mountains Olivia, Cinco Hermanos, Estancias Fique and Túnel and the Encajonado River.
In the direction of the island of Los Lobos, we will be able to observe these curious and friendly marine mammals, and in complete silence, sail around the island for about 20 minutes observing its habitat. Then, the catamaran will head to the island of Los Pájaros to see the cormorants, Magellanic, Albatross, Fullman Petrels, Giant Petrels and 20 different species of seabirds. Later, sailing through Paso Chico, we will return to Ushuaia with a view of the beautiful setting that gives the city the Martial Mount and its glacier of the same name.
From there, the boat will head towards the centre of the Beagle Channel, towards the south-west, reaching the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, in the archipelago of the same name. Later, sailing through Paso Chico, we will return to Ushuaia, with a view of the beautiful setting that gives the city the Martial Mount and its glacier of the same name.
