Day 01
Waterfalls, Banana Plantation, Rhum Distillery and Floral Park
- Meet your tour guide at a pre-decided location and begin the tour with a visit to Les Chutes du Carbet waterfalls in Capesterre-Belle-Eau.
- Take a caravan or minibus ride along the mountainous trail to reach the second waterfall, which stands more than 110 metres above the reception area. Enjoy the view of it from the middle of the forest.
- Then, drive down slowly while observing natural fruit trees and various plants, and at the same time take in panoramic views of the Guadeloupe archipelago islands, including Les Saintes and Marie-Galante.
- Visit the next stop just down the hill at the banana plantation for a historic and detailed explanation of how bananas are grown, while being pulled on a wagon by a banana tractor.
- Next, explore the Longeteau rhum distillery, where you can learn about the mechanism by which local rhum is produced.
- Have lunch at the floral parc, followed by a unique visit to Le Jardin de Valombreuse.
- Take a local river bath or simply inhale some fresh air.
- Head back to your hotel or accommodation at the end of the tour.
