Welcome to the land of the Buddha; join our Nepal Buddhist culture tour in which we take you to some of the important Buddhist sites in the world, including the birthplace of Buddha-Lumbini. The tour combines both nature and cultural aspects of touring in Nepal, starting from Kathmandu, the culture and historical center of Nepal. The Nepal Buddhist culture tour exposes you to a combination of nature and culture sites, especially designed for those interested in the Buddhist monuments in the birthplace of Buddha.
Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu and Transfer to Hotel
- According to your flight detail, our companies staff member will come to Tribhuwan International Airport for a welcome with your name on board and directly transfer to the hotel (Hotel Bliss International or similar category).
- After a warm welcome and check-in at the hotel, freshen up and have a short meeting about the activities plan in Nepal.
- In the evening, you can visit Thamel city, Dream of Garden and Kathmandu Durbar square, which is only a walking distance from the hotel.

Day 2: Kathmandu Buddhist stupas visits and overnight in Namobuddha
- After breakfast and short interaction with the tour guide, you will visit Swoyambbunath Stupa and Buddhist Stupa and Kopan Monastery, especially famous for teaching Buddhism to the visiting western foreigners. This is the place for learning more about Buddhist culture & history.
- After visiting the Buddhist pilgrimage, we drive to Namobuddha and participate in chanting and overnight in Monasteries.

Day 3: Drive to Pharping and stay in monasteries
- After breakfast, we drive to Pharping, a Newari culture town that is 38km from the Namobuddha. This place is famous for the identification of Hindu and Buddhist religious sites. This is also the place where Guru Padmasambhara has got enlighten at Asur Cave.
- We start our journey after having breakfast at the hotel and drive for about 2 hours. This place is way to Dakshinkali temple.
- After spending some time at Pharping town, we drive to Neydo Monasteries. Neydo Monasteries is a Bouddhist stupa Hotel. Every morning and evening, there is worship for gods, and if you are interested in getting information about Buddhist history, this place is suitable for you.

Day 4: Drive to Pokhara from Pharping
- We drive to Pokhara from Kathmandu Valley in a private car with great views of the Himalayas on the top of green hills.
- Stop some place for lunch and photo shoot. We will have plenty of time to enjoy the beauty of Fewa Lake which located in central Pokhara.

Day 5: Pokhara Sightseeing
- In the early morning, you go to Sarankot hill for sunrise, which is a 1-hour drive from your hotel. You can see panorama Himalayan (Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu) with sunrise.
- After chilling for some time, we drive to Bindhyabasini temple. This temple is dedicated to the goddess Bhagawati. Then, we drive back to the hotel for breakfast and rest for some time.
- After that, we go to Davis Fall (waterfall), Gupteswore cave (world-famous pilgrim site dedicated to Lord Shiva), International mountain museum, Seti river, KIC bridge, Mahendra cave, and lastly, World peace stupa Sunset located on a top hill of Ananda hill. It is a Buddhist Pagoda style monastery that was built after World War II as the symbol of peace. You can even see the whole Pokhara valley.
- In the evening, you can visit Pokhara city for shopping and Phewa Lake for boating.

Day 6: Drive to Lumbini
- After having a hearty breakfast at the hotel, our driver will be at the hotel to pick you up and drive to our next and most important destination, “Birth place of Lord Gautam Buddha”.
- We have to drive about 5-6 hours on the highway and finally reach Lumbini. At Lumbini, the feeling will be different from other places. This is the place where you can feel peace state of mind.
- We check-in at the hotel with welcome drinks and rest.

Day 7: Explore Birthplace of Lord Buddha (Lumbini)
- Early morning wake up at the hotel and have breakfast, and walk to Mayadevi temple. Mayadevi temple is the place where Queen Mayadevi gave birth to Lord Gautam Buddha in 563 BCE.
- Behind the Mayadevi temple, there is a small holy pond called “puskarani” where Buddha had his first bath by Queen Mayadevi. There is also a Ashoka Pillar on the side of the Mayadevi temple. It was discovered in 1896, and it is believed that Emperor Ashoka visited Lumbini. The site was not known as Lumbini before the pillar was discovered.
- We worship at the temple, stay couple of hour in Green Park. Then, we walk to visit different stupa, temple, monasteries and Pagoda made by different countries from the world - World Peace Pagoda, Myanmar Golden Temple, Chinese, Thai Monastery, France Buddhist temple and another important place “Lumbini Museum” where you can get the life of Gautam Buddha and his house photo. Lumbini is one of the important place in Nepal because it is the birth place of the founder of the Buddhist religion “Lord Gautam Buddha”, and this place is quiet and peaceful.

Day 8: Drive back to Kathmandu
- After breakfast in early morning we drive back to Kathmandu which takes around 10-11 hours drive with some lunch and tea break on the way. However, it is adventure drive with one side hills and another side trishuli river. At evening we have a cultural dinner, where you can share your experience of tour in Nepal. Overnight at hotel.

Day 9 : Departure from Kathmandu
Today is your last day in Nepal. We drop you to International airport before 2 hours of your flight time. Then you will go back to your next trip to your home taking with us the memorable of wonderful moment spend with us.
