The itinerary

Day 01

Mount Sinai Sunrise and St. Catherine Monastery Excursion

• You will be transferred at approximately 10 pm from your hotel by an air-conditioned vehicle. Exact details will be confirmed after booking the tour.
• Drive to Jabal Moussa, or the city of Saint Catherine, about 230 km from Sharm. The journey takes about two and a half hours.
• Upon arrival, you will be accompanied by a Bedouin guide who will explain the path. The walk takes about two hours, followed by approximately 750 steps to reach the top.
• Start climbing Moses Mountain at 2:00 am and descend at 7:00 am.
• Proceed to visit St. Catherine Monastery, considered one of the most famous monasteries in the world. It was dedicated to Saint Catherine, one of Alexander's rulers, who was tortured to death for the sake of her new faith. You can also travel to Mount Sinai during the day to climb the mountain and see the sunset from atop Moses Mountain.
• Transfer to Dahab for relaxation and time for shopping.
• Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Dahab before returning to your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh.
