Go on a 7-Day Everest sunrise view trek and take in the panoramic views of Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Mehra, Mt. Lhotse and other attractive landscapes. Witness the lifestyle and the settlement of the world-famous Sherpa people and hike to Tengboche Monastery to enjoy the experiences of Sherpa culture and religion.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu
- Be picked up by your tour guide from the International Airport in Kathmandu.
- Transfer to a hotel (Hotel Bliss International or the same category). Be offered a welcome drink and a welcome dinner.
Day 2: Fly to Lukla & Walk to Phakding
- Have breakfast in the morning and fly to Lukla Airport.
- Trek to Lukla. This is a breath-taking air route in which you can enjoy the green landscapes wrapped by the arms of snowy mountains.
- For acclimatisation, walk to Phakding. Have your meals in the guest houses available there.
Day 3: Phakding to Namche Bazaar
- Start walking from Phakding after having breakfast.
- Arrive at Monjo, the gateway of Sagarmatha National Part, where your trekking permits will be checked for official records.
- Continue to walk to the first village of Namche Bazaar.
- Reach in the Hillary suspension bridge while walking through the river bed.
- Climb towards Namche Bazaar.
Spend the night in Namche Bazaar, which has the most advanced facilities in the Khumbu region.
Day 4: Hike to Khumjung then back to Namche
- Start your trek early in the morning to reach the hotel at the highest altitude.
- See the peak of Mt. Everest.
- Enjoy your breakfast and hike to Tengboche monastery, which is the largest Gompa of the Khumbu region having religious importance to the Sherpas residing there.
- Arrive at Namche Bazaar again.
Day 5: Trek back to Lukla
- Begin a slow walk on the steep and rocky ways.
- Cross some of the popular bridges, following the Dhud Koshi River and walk through the pine and rhododendron forest and pass several Sherpa villages as well as different Buddhist monasteries.
Spend the night at Lukla.
Day 6: Fly back to Kathmandu
- Catch a flight from Lukla Airport to Kathmandu.
- Transfer to your hotel and have a farewell dinner where you can share all your trek experiences.
Day 7: Departure from Kathmandu
- Transfer to the airport with all the memories of your trek and souvenirs from Nepal.
- Reach the airport 2 hours before your flight time with the imprint of Nepal in your mind and heart.

Know Before You Go

Autumn (Sept. to Nov.) and Spring (March to May) are the best seasons for the Everest sunrise View Trek. The weather is sunny and warm with outstanding views. If you wish to avoid crowds and enjoy some alone time with nature then taking this trip during winter (Dec., Jan. and Feb.) could also be an option. However, the temperature during winter could be harsh for most guests. Trekking in the Summer or Monsoon seasons (June to Aug.) will be affected by rain but the Summer trek could be a boon for a keen botanist.

English and continental breakfast in Kathmandu are included in a package, There are many foreign restaurants available in Kathmandu, you will find all types of meals. During trekking, we provide three meals per day (i.e. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner per day) from the selected menu is available in the lodge and tea house. We can get local Nepali food and some Italian and continental which prepare in Nepali style. Food during the trek is not so well decorated as in Kathmandu. However; most of the food is prepared by their local people in their field. The food is organic, delicious and quite healthy.

Everest Sunrise view trek is the easy trekking of Everest Region so it can be done by any age group who have good and fit health. It doesn’t do required any experience before trekking. We do not recommend travellers who are suffering from blood pressure or any disease or medical situation before one year. We highly recommend conceding with a doctor before their trekking.
