Description
Sign-up for this Everest base camp trek, one of the most adventurous trek routes on earth, with its altitude of 5364 meters. The trek starts with the flight from Kathmandu to the Lukla Airport, follows the Dudh Kosi valley, and climbs up to the gateway of Everest Namche Bazar (3440m). You will then trek another two days to Dingboche, 4,260 metres (13,980 ft), before resting for another day for further acclimatization. Complete your 10-day trek and return to the city from where you started; stay overnight in Kathmandu, and your sojourn comes to an end on the 14th day.
Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu and Transfer to Hotel
- Meet your representative who will welcome you and transfer you to Hotel in Kathmandu. After you freshen up, you will be provided with the necessary information and you can spend time for last-minute shopping.

Day 2: Kathmandu - Lukla (2,800 m/9,184 ft) - Phakding (2,652 m/8,700 ft) 3-4 hrs
- Enjoy a scenic flight of nearly 40 minutes that will finally bring you to Lukla.
- Trek to Phakding for an overnight stop.

Day 3: Phakding -Namche Bazaar (3,440 m/11,283 ft) -5-6 hrs.
- Have breakfast around 8 am and start walking.
- Trek to Namche Bazaar via Monjo. the entrance gate for Sagarmatha National Park. Today is a little difficult day because after Monjo you will have to climb high through the jungle for around 3 hours and there are no guest houses in between.
- Reach Namche Bazaar, where you can get fresh coffee. There are trekking gear shops and mini grocery stores etc.

Day 4: Namche Bazaar: Acclimatization Day
- Acclimatize on this day. But, your days in normal would begin after breakfast around 8 am.
- Start your days with water and some chocolate in small bags.
- Hike around for 5 hours and explore, Everest View Hotel, Khumjung and Khunde Valley, Hillary School and Hillary Museum.

Day 5: Namche Bazaar to Tsengboche (3,870m/12,694ft) 5 - 6 hrs
- Hike for around for 6 hours, the trail goes down to Dudh Koshi river and then up to Tengboche village.
- Reach Tengboche and explore the oldest Tengboche Monastery.
- Enjoy a very close view of Amadablam Mountain which is breathtaking.

Day 6: Tsengboche to Dingboche (4,360 m/14,300ft) 5- 6 hrs
- Trek to Dingboche (4,360 m/14,300ft) for around 6 hrs while crossing rhododendron forest and witnessing a very close view of Amadablam, Thamsherrku Mountain.
- Stop in Pangboche village for lunch and start trekking to your destination Dingboche.

Day 7: Dingboche (4,360 m/14,300ft) Acclimatization Day
- Have breakfast and take some water and chocolate. Hike to Chukkung village. Chukkung is a beautiful village and gateway to Island peak climbing. The view of Mount Amadablam and Pumori is very beautiful.
- Have lunch there and trek back to Dingboche.

Day 8: Dingboche - Lobuche (4940 m/16,207 ft) 2-4 hrs
- Have breakfast and trek to Lobuche (4940 m/16,207 ft) for around 4 hrs.
- Climb further via Khumbu Glacier while watching the panoramic view of the Himalayas.
- Reach Lobuche and have lunch.
- Explore the nearby areas and if time and weather allow you can explore the Mount Lobuche climbing trail.

Day 9: Lobuche - Gorak Shep (5,170 m/16,961ft) - Everest Base Camp (5,364m/17,594ft) - Gorak Shep 8-9 hrs
- Have a fulfilling breakfast as this is a very important day.
- Trek to Gorakshep and for about 3 hours.
- Put luggage and after lunch, trek to Everest Base Camp and to the Khumbu Ice-fall.
- Explore the vicinity of the base camp with the impressive look of the crowning Mt. Everest (8848m), the world's highest peak.

Day 10: Gorak Shep - Kala Patthar (5555m/18,192ft) - Pheriche (4,730m/15,518ft) 8-9 hrs
- Begin a long day in the early morning around 4:30 am. Climb the Kalapathhar peak at the elevation of 5555 meters to see the best view of Everest south face without climbing it.
- See the spectacular views of Changtse and most of the West-Ridge route, Mount Pumori and many more.
- Return to Gorakshep, eat breakfast and walk back to Pheriche via Lobuche.

Day 11: Trek to Namche via Tyangboche 8-9 hrs walk
- Have breakfast and trek back to Namche via Tengboche.
- Enjoy lunch at Tengboche and finally reach Namche where you will celebrate your success of Everest Base camp trekking.

Day 12: Namche to Lukla (2,800m/9,186ft) 6-7 hrs. walk
- Trek for around 6 hours and head back to Lukla from Namche.

Day 13: Fly back to Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264 ft)
- Wake up early morning around 7 am and fly to Kathmandu for around 30 minutes.
- Reach Kathmandu and check in to the hotel and enjoy a free day in Kathmandu.

- Reach the Airport according to your flight time.
