Day 01

Embark in Luxor and Sail to Esna

  • Meet your tour guide at Luxor airport early in the morning and begin the tour.
  • Visit the temple of Karnak and the Valley of the Kings.
  • Check in on Luxor's west bank before noon.
  • Sail to Esna and have lunch on board. Start a fantastic and unforgettable time on the Nile as you cross the Esna lock.
  • Enjoy your meal.

El Kab Discovery and Edfu Temple Visit

  • Enjoy your breakfast while cruising the Nile and visit the city of El Kab.
  • Explore this lesser-known city and discover the ancient walls, the temple, and the rock-cut tombs of the New Kingdom.
  • Navigate to Edfu and have lunch on board.
  • Visit the temple of Edfu and take a wonderful carriage ride through the village to the fantastic Temple of Horus, one of the largest and best-preserved monuments in Egypt. Two beautiful granite statues of the falcon god Horus flank the entrance.
  • Continue your day of sailing and experience the simple life of farmers and fishermen, the picturesque and magical nature along the Nile, and the verdant, fertile landscapes with fields of sugar cane, bananas, and date palms.
  • Drop anchor near Sheikh Rehan Island, where you will have dinner in a calm and relaxing environment.

Gebel Silsela and Pharaonic Quarries

  • Depart early towards Gebel Silsela and have breakfast on board.
  • Continue your relaxed day of sailing.
  • Go ashore to discover the ancient pharaonic quarries of Silsela and the lesser-known temple of Hormoheb carved into the rock. From the top of the mountain, you can enjoy a breathtaking view.
  • Stay at the edge of Al Bashir Island, near Kom Ombo, for a barbecue dinner.
