Day 01

Egyptian Museum, Citadel, and Old Cairo Tour

Pickup from your hotel in Cairo or Giza by your tour guide.
Start your tour with a visit to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. It exhibits a rare collection of over 250,000 genuine artefacts dating as far back as 5000 years, including an exclusive exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamun - a collection of treasures, gold, and jewellery that was buried in his tomb for over 3,500 years before being discovered in 1920, when the tomb was excavated.
Visit the Citadel of Cairo, where you can go to the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali Pasha.
Stop at a local restaurant for a full meal at lunchtime.
Continue to Old Cairo, also known as Christian Coptic Cairo. This area, together with the Fort of Babylon, is a destination of pilgrimage not only for Egyptians but also for Christians from around the world.
Enter the Church of Abu-Sergah and St. Barbara, the Hanging Church, and the old Jewish synagogue - Ben Ezra Synagogue.
Transfer back to your hotel in Cairo at 17:00.
