Description
Come and visit Lake Victoria, locally referred to as Nalubaale, the world's largest tropical lake with sandy beaches and pristine islands. Meet endangered Mountain Gorillas in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Immerse yourself in a village walk with the Batwa tribe and explore the Queen Elizabeth National Park to spot big cats, elephants, forest hogs and buffaloes by game drive or a launch cruise.

Day 1: Arrive at Entebbe or Kampala
- Arrive at Entebbe and transfer to your appointed hotel in Entebbe or Kampala.
- Depending on arrival time, visit the award-winning ‘Last King of Scotland Tour' based on Idi Amin or ‘Disney’s Queen of Katwe’ movie tour based on Chess prodigy Fiona Mutesi or visit the cultural sites in the city.
Dinner & Overnight in Entebbe or Kampala.

Day 2: Head for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest (Drive: 8-9 hours)
- After early breakfast, checkout (pick up is at 7:00 AM, do not forget your camera & extra battery). Drive via Mpambire Drum Market and then Equator line.
- Stopover at Agip Motel or Igongo Cultural Museum Mbarara for lunch before continuing through the rolling hills of western Uganda via Rukingiri,
- Arrive at Bwindi in the late afternoon. Check-in at Sanctuary Lodge (GFC) Mahogany Lodge, Buhoma or Silverback Lodge or similar camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable - Queen Elizabeth National Park
- Have an early morning wake-up call at 6:30 AM and eat breakfast before a briefing by ranger/guide at 8:00 am prior to your trek (do not forget your packed lunch).
- Enjoy Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The park boasts no fewer than 23 of the 24 Albertine Rift endemics, including the spectacular and globally threatened African Broadbill and Shelly's Crimsonwing. Bwindi is richest in terms of birds, butterflies and trees.
- Depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park through the southern sector with a chance to see tree-climbing lions, angulates, buffalo, elephant and birdlife. Check-in at Katara, Lodge or Mweya Safari Lodge or a similar lodge for dinner and overnight. (3.5 - 4 hours drive)

Day 4: Game Drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park
- Arrange a wake-up call at 5:45 AM. Have early morning breakfast before starting your game drive at 6:30 AM.
- Catch the African sunrise on the peninsula, with animals including lions back from their overnight hunt, elephants, buffalos, hyenas, the rare giant forest hog, warthogs, the kob mating grounds, teeming birdlife and crater lakes.
- Have lunch at 3:00 PM. After lunch, head for an afternoon launch trip. Get close to a variety of hippo, fish eagle, goliath heron, African Jacana, Egyptian geese, and the rare shoebill and mountain ranges in the horizon before making a ‘U’ turn back to base at Mweya Peninsular, Katara or Bush Lodge for dinner & overnight.

Day 5: Cultural Tour/Kyambura Gorge Walk - Entebbe/Kampala
- Get an early morning wake-up call at 6:30 AM and have your breakfast.
- Head for Kyambura Gorge in search of chimps. The gorge is also home to red-tailed monkeys, black & white colobus, giant forest hog birdlife.
- Return to Kampala or Entebbe for dinner & overnight at Serena or a similar hotel. (6-7 hours drive)
Other options:
- Visit Hamukungu fishing village, basket weavers or Katwe salt mines that have sustained livelihoods dating back to the 16th century.
- Ramsar Migratory Bird Site on Lake George that host flamingoes and other migrants from October to May.

Day 6: Departure
- Depending on the flight time, you may visit Crafts Village or sites including Wamala or UNESCO World heritage Kasubi Tombs, the largest thatched Mouseleum in East Africa. Your sojourn comes to an end today.
