Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival & Welcome Dinner with Apsara Show in Siem Reap

   • Upon your arrival at the airport, our escort guide and driver will welcome you and transfer you directly to the hotel for check-in. 
   • Enjoy free time at the hotel or make your own highlight tour around the central area.
   • Evening, transfer to have Khmer set dinner followed by Apsara traditional dance performance at Por Cuisine restaurant.

   Overnight in Siem Reap.

2. Day 2: Full-Day Angkor Discovery

   • Our tour guide and driver will be meeting you at your hotel’s lobby at 8.00 am. 
   • Head out to visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, the last and most enduring capital city of the Khmer Empire. The gate is atop four giant smiling faces mainly; visit Bayon temple consisting of more than 200 smiling faces in stone and admired by interesting surroundings such as the terrace of elephants, the terrace of the Leper King, Baphuon and Phimeanakas. 
   • Continue to reveal the intertwined Ta Prohm jungle temple adorned by the stunning tree roots and where Lara Croft – Tomb Raider was filmed.
   • Enjoy Khmer set lunch at Anachak air conditioning restaurant.
   • Afternoon, we visit the magnificent Angkor Wat – the largest religious monument, the 7th Wonder of the World. This incredible complex was initially constructed as a Hindu temple of god Vishnu for the Khmer Empire, gradually transforming into a Buddhist temple toward the end of the 12th century. We unlock the greatest history, observe the unique architecture, styles, decoration and so on. 
   • Continue your visit to the beautiful sunset at Phnom Bakheng (limited allowance & touristy) or go to Pre Rup temple for sunset or skip it if you feel tired.

3. Day 3: Kompong Phluk Stilt House & Mangrove Tour

   • We set off to a nearby countryside to experience oxcart adventure through the rural village to interact with local people, see animals, fresh vegetable gardens and rice fields dotting with palm trees. 
   • Enjoy fresh coconut juice & tropical fruits before heading to visit the Cambodian Liqueur workshop, where you have a chance to test many different liqueur flavours and followed by finger snacks. 
   • Continue to Kompong Phluk, one of the stilt house villages located at the edge of Tonle Sap Lake. We embark on a private sheltered boat and enjoy sightseeing along the canal before the excursion reaches the stilt houses. The boat slides slowly through high stilted houses, come across the highlight of fishing activities. Witness how life works on the water and how people make the lake as home. 
   • Resume by canoe to explore the mangroves with pleasant surroundings, we may see water-birds and monkeys before we dock to our regular boat to see the great lake of Tonle Sap, unlock Tonle Sap’s eco-system and its rich biosphere. Return hotel for refreshment.
   • Evening, transfer to have set dinner at the beautiful décor restaurant “Grill Wine Café” before watching the Phare Cambodia Circus show (Seat B). It is more than just a circus - Phare performers use theatre, music, dance and modern circus arts to tell uniquely Cambodian stories; historical, folk and contemporary.

4. Day 4: Fly from Siem Reap to Sihanoukville, Speed Boat to Koh Rong Island & Beach

   • Our driver (no guide) transfers you from the hotel’s lobby to Siem Reap domestic airport to depart to Sihanoukville. Once you have arrived in Sihanoukville, our driver will welcome you (no guide) at the arrival gate.
   • Go straight to Buva Sea Cambodia’s office, where you wait to get transferred to the ferry pier for the departure at 2.00 pm to Koh Rong Island. 
   • After an hour ferry excursion, you will be greeted by the hotel’s staff, who will assist you with all your luggage to the hotel for check-in and have free time.

5. Day 5: Take Beach Break in Koh Rong Island

   • Day at leisure today. Enjoy yourselves by the seaside, swimming and sunbathing on beautiful Cambodia’s Koh Rong Island.

6. Day 6: Sihanoukville to Phnom Penh Capital by Private Car

   • Enjoy the rest of your time at Koh Rong before catching the speed ferry at 12.00 pm back to the mainland. 
   • You’ll be met by our driver (no guide) at the ferry pier after disembarking, then transfer directly to your hotel in Phnom Penh.

7. Day 7: Killing Field & Phnom Penh City Tour with Dinner Cruise

   • Our guide and driver will meet you at 8.00 am at the hotel’s lobby, then we go to witness the tragic site of Cheung Ek, known as The Killing Fields. Hundreds of Cambodian lives progressed here between 1975 and 1979 under Khmer Rouge, connecting to the Tuol Sleng museum – a former high school turned into Tortured Prison S-21.
   • Continue with strolling around the Russian market for shopping.
   • Afternoon, proceed to visit the National Museum; the world’s most important collection of Khmer sculptures and carvings.
   • Enjoy guided orientation around Wat Phnom with interesting legendary of founding Phnom Penh Capital.
   • Evening at 4.30 pm, we get on board, enjoy a welcome cocktail while the boat cruise slowly takes you along Mekong & Tonle Sap River; view the spectacular sunset before having buffet dinner on board. Disembark and transfer back to the hotel.

8. Day 8: Phnom Penh City Tour By Cyclo & Departure

   • We set off at 8.30 am to challenge a cyclo (rickshaw) for interesting highlights of Phnom Penh.
   • Ride to the central market to see the daily life of trading. We ride along the riverside to visit the Royal Palace – a complex of buildings that serves as the royal residence of the king of Cambodia, Silver Pagoda, Royal Stupas, French-style building etc. 
   • Have lunch at a selected local restaurant by the riverside.
   • Return hotel and enjoy the rest of your time in Phnom Penh before transferring to the airport for flight departure for your next destination.
