The itinerary

Day 01

Windhoek to Etosha National Park and Sunset Game Drive

Pick up from your accommodation in Windhoek around 8:30 AM and begin the drive north. Stop at Otjiwarongo for a break, then continue to Outjo for a lunch break.
Enter Etosha National Park in the afternoon, check in, and set up the camp.
Head out on a game drive until sunset, visiting different waterholes in search of animals.

Dinner at the campsite (a barbecue dinner prepared by the guide with your assistance).

Later, check the night waterhole at the camp to look for animals.

Day 02

Full-Day Etosha Game Drive

After breakfast at the restaurant, start the game drive. The route will be west or east, depending on the situation. Stop for a lunch break at Halali or Dolomite.
Embark on an afternoon game drive, then return to the camp and enjoy some relaxed time.

Dinner at the restaurant.

Check the night waterhole at the camp to see animals.

Day 03

Etosha to Windhoek via Okahandja

After breakfast at the restaurant, pack all the camping equipment and drive back to Windhoek. Savour lunch en route.
Stop at Okahandja for a break and visit the craft market.
Arrive in Windhoek in the afternoon, around 4-5 PM, and get dropped off at your accommodation.

Know before you go

Etosha National Park is big; the pan itself is the size of Switzerland.
Although an experienced guide tries his best, you may not see all the animals you expect.
Most of the time, we succeed in seeing elephants, rhinos, lions, giraffes, and zebras, but predators that are active at night, such as leopards and hyenas, depend on your luck.
Namibia is open to international tourists with a negative PCR test result that is not older than 7 days.
