Day by day

The itinerary

Day 01

Windhoek to Namib-Naukluft National Park

Pick up from your accommodation in Windhoek around 8:30 AM and start driving south, with a short break in Rehoboth.
Stop at the Spreetshoogte Pass viewpoint for endless views over the Namib, then take a lunch break in Solitaire, where you can try the famous apple pie.
Enter Namib-Naukluft National Park, check in, and set up camp. Afterwards, enjoy some relaxing time at the bar or swimming pool.
Watch the sunset at Elim Dune.

Dinner at the restaurant, followed by an early rest for the next morning's activity.

Day 02

Deadvlei Sunrise and Dune Excursion

Start driving early before sunrise, with a breakfast pack arranged, and watch the sunrise at Deadvlei.
Embark on a dune excursion to Big Daddy, Big Mama, or Dune 45, depending on your energy.
Return to Sesriem for lunch, then head out for a short excursion to Sesriem Canyon and enjoy some relaxed time.

Dinner at a restaurant.

Day 03

Return to Windhoek with Optional City Tour

After breakfast at the restaurant, pack all the camping gear and start driving back to Windhoek, with lunch en route.
Arrive in Windhoek in the afternoon at around 3-4 PM. On request, embark on a short city tour including the German church and craft market.
Drop off at your accommodation.
