Itinerary

1. Day 1 - Julius Nyerere International Airport To The Hotel

   • Get picked up from Julius Nyerere International Airport and transfer to the hotel in Dar es Salaam (the biggest city in Tanzania). 

   Dinner and the overnight stay will be at the Riverside Lodge.

2. Day 2 - Dar Es Salaam To Mikumi National Park

   • Drive to the Mikumi National park (about 4 hours of Journey). 
   • Upon arrival at the park, go for evening game drives. See Big cats and herds of Elephants.

   The dinner and overnight stay will be at Hotel Camp Mikumi Bastian or a similar lodge.

3. Day 3 - Mikumi National Park

   • Enjoy a full of game drives in the Mikumi National Park.
   • See the largest antelope of the world(Eland), primates, Big cats, Hippos and herds of elephant, and vast species of bird in the middle of the day. Have a delicious Picnic lunch and proceed for a sunset drive.

   Overnight stay will be at Camp Bastian Mikumi or a similar lodge.

4. Day 4 - Mikumi To Selous Game Reserve

   • Visit the biggest game reserve of Africa, Selous game reserve.
   • Upon arrival at Selous game reserve, enjoy game drives where and come across flora and fauna of the region.

   Dinner and overnight stay will be at River Rufiji Hippo Camp or a similar lodge.

5. Day 5 - Selous Game Reserve & Rufiji River

   • After a delicious breakfast, go for morning and afternoon game drives in Selous Game Reserve. Have a picnic lunch in the middle of the day. 
   • Take a boat trip and enjoy traversing the river Rufiji. Come across Hippos, crocodiles and other grazing animals around the river. 

   The dinner and the overnight stay will be at Rufiji Hippo Camp or a similar lodge.

6. Day 6 - Selous National Park & Final Departure

   • Early morning breakfast. Go for a walking safari and see the fauna and flora. 
   • Drive back to Dar es salaam and drop off at the airport or Hotel.
