Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park

   • Meet up with your local guide to start the tour. Leave Arusha town and drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. 
   • Enjoy game drives through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area around 10 AM in closed safari vehicles with pop–up roofs.
   • Drive to Loduare Gate, where your driver-guide will process your Park entry paperwork. 
   • Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater and make your way through lush forests, home to numerous elephants and buffaloes. Reach inside the Ngorongoro Crater and marvel at the incredible landscape around you. The main feature of this crater tour is a large, unbroken, unfolded volcanic caldera that was formed when a giant volcano exploded and collapsed on itself some two to three million years ago. It is 610m (2,000 ft.) deep, and its floor covers 260 km² (100 sq. mi). 
   • Enjoy the lunch, which will be served picnic-style, surrounded by the natural wonders around you as well as the exceptional wildlife roaming freely, with which you share this extraordinary paradise. 
   • Ascend from the Crater's floor after lunch and drive to Serengeti doing game drive en route.

   Arrive at your lodge in time for dinner and overnight at Ang’ata Camp in Central Serengeti.

2. Day 2: Serengeti National Park Full Day Tour

   • Leave your Camp for a full day game drive through Serengeti. Central Serengeti is home to the beautiful Seronera valley. See several perennial rivers running through this valley, enabling many resident animals to thrive all year round. You can marvel at this amazing abundance and diversity of easily seen large predators that attract thousands of visitors and hundreds of researchers to the Seronera river valley each year.
   • Observe these large carnivores, and since many are resident, excellent encounters are available year-round. It is not unusual to see all four large predators (lion, hyena, leopard and cheetah) during the course of a day in the central Serengeti.
   • Spot the Big Five: lion, leopard, elephant, black rhinoceros and buffalo, while exploring the park. Other animals such as cheetah, Thomson's and Grant's gazelle, topi, eland, waterbuck, hyena, baboon, impala, African wild dog and giraffe can also be seen. 
   • Admire the beautiful birdlife of this park as well. It boasts of 500 bird species, including ostrich, secretary bird, Kori bustard, crowned crane, marabou stork, martial eagle, lovebirds and many species of vultures. 

   Drive to Lahia Lodge for dinner and overnight.

3. Day 3: Serengeti National Park Full Day Game Drive

   • Enjoy another day of the finest game viewing anywhere in Africa. Witness unrivalled concentrations of wildlife, stunningly beautiful landscapes and vast pristine areas proving Serengeti National Park as the best national park in the whole of Africa.
   • Make your way to the western corridor of Serengeti, a special place that is seldom explored. The western corridor straddles the northward migration route of the enormous wildebeest herds. 
   • Get a chance to witness the Great Wildebeest Herd Migration, typically in mid-May (the beginning of the dry season). The great herds begin to depart the plains and follow the Mbalageti and Seronera Rivers into the western corridor. 
   • Admire significant numbers of other resident wildlife animals as well. There are large populations of resident wildebeest and zebra that do not join their migratory cousins as they pass through every year on their journey northwards. Other resident animals include giraffe, buffalo, eland, topi, impala, waterbuck and Thomson’s gazelle. 

   Drive to Ang’ata Camp arriving for dinner and overnight.

4. Day 4: Serengeti National Park to Arusha

   • Begin the day in the center of the majestic Serengeti. Continue your journey into the plains.
   • Enjoy a half-day game drive and view hundreds of diverse animals 
   • Drive back to Arusha, after a fulfilling game drive, for dinner and overnight.
