The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Maun and Transfer to Sitatunga Camp

Meet up with your guide at Maun International Airport.
Transfer to Sitatunga Camp, where you can unpack, shower, and relax. This camp is nestled in a riverine forest along the Thamalakane River, a sidearm of the mighty Okavango River.

Get a chance to go for an optional scenic flight over the Okavango Delta on request.

Day 02

Drive from Maun to Khwai

Start early and drive through the traditional villages before entering the Khwai Concession area.
Drive along the Khwai River until you get to your campsite.

Day 03

Game Drives in Khwai

Enjoy early morning and afternoon game drives exploring Khwai.
See the large variety of wildlife at the game reserve. Enjoy leisure time between game drives.

Day 04

Journey from Khwai to Moremi

Feast on a delicious breakfast before making your way towards Moremi Game Reserve. The first reserve in Africa was established by residents concerned about the rapid depletion of wildlife in their ancestral land due to uncontrolled hunting.
Enjoy lunch en route.

Overnight stay in Moremi.

Day 05

Wildlife Viewing and Sundowner in Moremi

Continue your game drive searching for elusive animals until about 11:00 hrs, then return to camp for a delicious brunch.
Relax for a little while and then start an afternoon game drive, which will end with a lovely sundowner and a gin and tonic on the side.
Return to camp after sunset for a great dinner under the stars, and more stories and highlights of our tour will follow after dinner.

Day 06

Return from Moremi to Maun

Pack up and slowly drive along floodplains, lagoons, and rivers until you exit Moremi Game Reserve through South Gate. Drive towards Maun, where the safari ends.
