Along The Mahaweli River Cycle Ride And Exploring The Kingdom of Kandy

• We pick you up from the hotel in kandy at 6.30 am
• Leave hotel for the adventure
• You will embark on half a day cycle tour from sub way of Colombo Kandy main road towards Kandy city.
• The starting point 2nd Rajasinghe Mawatha.
• We provide you expert of cycle guide, cycles with basic equipment and light snack with water throughout the tour.
• During the excursion you will be passing beautiful Mahaveli river
• Mahaweli river, central and eastern Sri Lanka. At 208 mi (335 km) in length, it is Sri Lanka’s longest river. It rises on the Hatton Plateau on the western side of the island’s hill country, flows north through a tea- and rubber-growing region, and turns east near Kandy; it then turns north across the lowlands, receives its principal tributary, the Amban Ganga,  
• you will be passing the Kandy war cemetery.
• Formerly known as Pitakande Military Cemetery, it was acquired originally by the military authorities, and was subsequently taken over by the Commission as a permanent war cemetery. Kandy is in central Sri Lanka, 910 metres above sea-level. It is 121 kilometres north-east of Colombo, from which it is easily reached by road. From the Botanical Gardens at Peridenya, take the road to Kandy. Just past the gardens, take a left turning at the roadside direction sign, down Lady Magdalene Drive. The Cemetery is approximately 1.5 kilometres along this road. 
• We will visit Bahirawakande Temple and we will be viewing 360 degrees Kandy city from the viewpoint of the temple
• Climbing the numerous steps to the top seeing the white colossal statue of Buddha named as Bahirawakanda Vihara gives one a sense of peace, serenity and harmony; and a stunning and gorgeous panoramic view of charming Kandy..
• Will be back to the hotel and take a rest of a few hours and
• Start Kandy exploring tour. We will utilize a couple of hours to explore the city.
• Thereafter proceed to the Temple of the tooth.
• The Temple of the Tooth Relic (the sacred tooth of the Buddha), which is a famous pilgrimage site, one of the most famous Buddhist temples in the world, which was built to protect the sacred tooth relic thought to belong to Lord Buddha, which has been enshrined in Sri Lanka for hundreds of years As well as a host of other temples, visitors to the city can wander along Kandy Lake 
• In the evening will be proceeded to watch Kandyan dancing show
• Kandyan The cultural show depicts various forms of Kandyan dancing which was once native to the area but has now spread to different regions of the island and the show include of Magul Bera/Puja Netuma/Raban/Mayura Netuma/Pantheru Natuma/Gini Sisila/Ves Natuma(Fire walk). 
• And finally we drop you back to your hotel
