The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Lhasa

Arrive at Lhasa International Airport.
Meet your tour guide at the airport and transfer to the hotel.

Check in at the hotel and relax.

Day 02

Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple and Bakhor Street

Pick up from the hotel and begin your sightseeing tour of Lhasa.
Visit the Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple.
Walk through Bakhor Street and see ancient shops, traditional homes, and cobbled alleyways.
Interact with the locals and learn about their traditions, heritage, and day-to-day lifestyle.

Return to the hotel.

Day 03

Drepung Monastery, Sera Monastery and Norbulingka

Pick up from the hotel and travel to Drepung Monastery, one of the great three Gelug university gompas of Tibet, located at the foot of Mount Gephel.
Continue to Sera Monastery, one of the great three Gelug university monasteries of Tibet, located 1.25 miles north of Lhasa and about 5 km north of the Jokhang.
Head to Norbulingka, a palace and surrounding park in Lhasa that served as the traditional summer residence of the successive Dalai Lamas.

Return to the hotel.
