The itinerary

Day 01

Medellín City Tour and Comuna 13

Meet the guide at the hotel or the airport, depending on your arrival time in Medellín.
Head to the center of Medellín to visit Plaza de Botero, where you can find the 23 sculptures donated by master Fernando Botero.
Continue north to visit Parque de los Deseos, one of the most visited outdoor parks in the city, where you will also have a typical snack.
Visit the outdoor park called Parque de los Pies Descalzos.
Enter Pueblito Paisa, a replica of a typical Colombian town, from where you will have a beautiful view of the city of Medellín.
Later, go to the west of Medellín and use two of the city's transport systems: the metro and one of the cable cars. From the cable car, you can see a large part of the city.
Have lunch at one of the restaurants.
After lunch, start the tour to the famous Comuna 13, which was affected by violence for many years and is now one of the most visited places by foreigners to learn about its history, social transformation, and how graffiti tells this story.

Day 02

Santa Elena Silletero Experience

Go to the east of Medellín for the Silletero tour.
Make your first stop at a silletera farm and learn the story of how farmers began carrying a modified chair on their backs to transport people to other places.
Have a typical lunch.
Head to the main park of Santa Elena and visit the Silletero monument.
Return to the hotel to rest.

Day 03

Peñol and Guatapé Discovery Tour

Go to the east of Medellín for the Peñol-Guatapé tour.
Have breakfast in the municipality of Marinilla.
After breakfast, continue to the municipality of Peñol and learn about the history of this town, which was moved from its original site in order to build the reservoir for power generation.
See the replica of the flooded town and the reservoir, which generates energy and is also used for boating.
Later, head to the monolith called the Peñón de Guatapé, considered one of the largest monoliths in Colombia.
Have lunch at Peñón de Guatapé.
After visiting this place, continue to the town of Guatapé, known as the town of Zócalos.
Enjoy delicious Colombian coffee.
Return to the hotel.

Day 04

San Francisco Cocoa, Waterfall and Wine Tour

Head to the municipality of San Francisco and learn about the cocoa process, known as "the food of the gods".
Visit a waterfall and take a refreshing bath.
Do the wine tour and learn the process from fermentation to the tasting of some of the wines they have there.
