Day 01

Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Hippodrome Tour

Meet your guide in the lobby of your hotel and start the tour.
Visit Hagia Sophia, built in 537 AD. It is the world's first large domed building and was the religious focal point of the Church for 1,000 years. It served as a mosque during the Ottoman period and became a museum in 1935.
Head to the Blue Mosque, called Sultanahmet Camii in Turkish, a historic mosque in Istanbul. The mosque is known as the Blue Mosque because of the blue tiles surrounding its interior walls.
Go to the Hippodrome of Constantinople, located in Sultanahmet, Istanbul. It was a public arena mainly used for chariot races. The word hippodrome comes from the Greek words hippos (horse) and dromos (way).
