Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Hippodrome Tour

  • Meet your guide in the lobby of your hotel and start the tour.
  • Visit Hagia Sophia, built in 537 AD. It is the world's first large domed building and was the religious focal point of the Church for 1,000 years. It served as a mosque during the Ottoman period and became a museum in 1935.
  • Head to the Blue Mosque, called Sultanahmet Camii in Turkish, a historic mosque in Istanbul. The mosque is known as the Blue Mosque because of the blue tiles surrounding its interior walls.
  • Go to the Hippodrome of Constantinople, located in Sultanahmet, Istanbul. It was a public arena mainly used for chariot races. The word hippodrome comes from the Greek words hippos (horse) and dromos (way).
  • Transfer to the hotel.
