Go on a 2-day tour to Mandawa, one of the smallest towns in northern Rajasthan, in the Shekhawati region and generally known as a fort town. Visit the numerous havelis in the town, which is said to be an open art gallery because of its many beautifully decorated mansions. Continue to Bikaner at the end of the tour for a convenient drop-off at your hotel or preferred location.

The itinerary

Day 01

Jaipur to Mandawa and Heritage Havelis

Head to Harlalka Well. The history of Harlalka Well is generally not known by many even today. This destination is just a few steps away from the haveli of Murmuria and is a very rustic and beautiful place. Walk up the camel ramp towards the well. Please note that you have to be very careful, as there are no guard railings to prevent a fall. The well is bottomless and is still filled with enough water. This is one of the places where you can relax and enjoy some peace.
See Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli, considered the most palatial mansion in Mandawa. It is an exceptional piece of art and architecture, known for its exotic imagery. Even today, the haveli is known for retaining its charm and vintage appeal.
Later, visit the Mandawa market.

Day 02

Mandawa Havelis and Drop in Bikaner

Visit Hanuman Goenka Haveli. It is generally believed that the Goenka family owns the Hanuman Goenka Haveli and many other havelis in and around Mandawa. Hanuman Prasad Goenka Haveli is a famous destination for travellers because of its different kinds of artwork and beautiful carvings. The most famous painting you will see in this haveli is of Lord Indra, who is considered the king of gods, riding his elephant.
Then go to Bansidhar Newatia Haveli. This place is best known for its attractive and colourful paintings. The haveli is among the famous tourist attractions that hold great historical importance, drawing thousands of history buffs and tourists. After that, head to Jaipur.
After visiting Mandawa, continue to Bikaner for drop-off at your hotel or any preferred location.
