Luxor East and West Bank Ancient Wonders
- 7:30 AM - Pickup from your hotel, Nile cruise in Luxor, Luxor airport, or train station by your licensed tour guide. Then, transfer by private air-conditioned modern car to Luxor's West Bank. Start the tour with a visit to the Valley of the Kings, where several kings were laid to rest. The best-known tombs include those of King Tuthmosis I, Tuthmosis III, Tut-Ankh-Amon, King Ramssess VI, King Meren-Ptah, and Amon-Hotep II.
- Proceed to El Dir El Bahari Temple, the funerary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, daughter of Thutmosis I, who ruled Egypt for about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty (approximately 1490-1469 B.C.). She was the only pharaonic woman to reign over ancient Egypt.
- Stop to admire the greatness of the Colossi of Memnon, the only remains of the Mortuary Temple of Amenhotep III.
- Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant; beverages are not included. Then head over to Luxor's East Bank to visit Karnak Temple.
- Continue to the Temple of Luxor, built by Amunhotep III during the 18th Dynasty in the New Kingdom and completed by Ramses II during the 19th Dynasty.
- Drive back to your hotel in Luxor. The tour can also end at Luxor airport or Luxor train station.
