7-Day Nepal Cultural and Wildlife Tour with Pokhara and Lumbini

• Arrive at Kathmandu International Airport, where you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel for check-in.
• The rest of the day is free to explore this historic and vibrant city at your own pace.

• After breakfast, we depart the hotel for a full-day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu, the "city of glory."
• We visit Durbar (Palace) Square, the epicentre of religious and cultural life, filled with old temples, historical significance, and glorious Newari architecture. Some of the sights include Kal Bhairav, Hanuman Dhoka, Taleju Temple, Kasthamandap, and Kumari Ghar, home to the Living Goddess.
• Afterwards, we visit Swoyambhunath Stupa, one of the oldest Buddhist stupas in the world, majestically set high on a hill overlooking Kathmandu Valley.
• We then proceed to Pashupatinath Temple, a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. This massive temple complex sits alongside the banks of the holy Bagmati River. Only Hindus are allowed to enter the temple's courtyard, while tourists can view the temple from the eastern side of the Bagmati River.
• Later, we visit Boudhanath, a Buddhist stupa said to be one of the largest in the world. This massive structure stands tall with four pairs of eyes, each facing the four cardinal directions and watching over the righteous behaviour and prosperity of humanity.

• After breakfast at the hotel, we take a scenic 25-minute flight to Pokhara.
• In Pokhara, we see the deep and narrow gorge of the roaring Seti River, then drive to Devi's Falls and continue to Gupteswar Cave and the Bat Cave.
• In the evening, relax by Phewa Lake and enjoy a leisurely row on its sparkling waters.

• Early at dawn, we hike up to the Sarangkot viewpoint to witness nature's ethereal light show as the sun rises over the Annapurna range, turning its peaks from white to gold.
• After breakfast, we drive to Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha.
• In Lumbini, we enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour. The spiritual heart of Lumbini is the Maya Devi Temple, where the Buddha was born under a Bodhi tree. Other sights in Lumbini include the Ashoka Pillar, Buddhist Monasteries, the World Peace Pagoda, and the Lumbini Crane Sanctuary.

• After breakfast, we drive to Chitwan National Park, a famous wildlife-viewing national park in Asia and a World Heritage Site, where we will have an excellent chance of spotting one-horned rhinos, deer, monkeys, leopards, wild elephants, Royal Bengal Tigers, and 450 species of birds.

• For wildlife viewing, birdwatching, and observing rare species of flora and fauna, we can either go deep into the park on a jungle safari in a four-wheel jeep, explore on foot, enjoy a relaxing canoe trip on the Rapti or Narayani Rivers, or choose elephant riding, which is more thrilling than comfortable.
• Moreover, we can head out to explore the surrounding Tharu villages.
