Debre Libanos Monastery, Portuguese Bridge and Jema Valley
- Pick up from your hotel or from the airport with your guide and driver, then drive to the northwest of Ethiopia.
- On the way, see Addis Ababa, the capital, from Mount Entoto. The Entoto area is known for its indigenous and eucalyptus trees, the "lung of Addis".
- See and enjoy the vibrant activities of the people in different towns before reaching Debre Libanos Monastery.
- On arrival, visit the inside part of the church and learn about its history and the reason behind building it.
- Go to the museum in the church compound, which contains the treasures of the church.
- Head to one of the oldest bridges in Ethiopia, the Portuguese Bridge. Baboons are also usually found in this area.
- Have lunch at a beautiful spot on the rim of the Jema Valley.
- Drive back to Addis Ababa and arrive around 4:00 pm.
