The itinerary

Day 01

Mount Nemrut and Commagene Kingdom Sites

Depart for Nemrut Dağı National and Natural Park on the first day.
On the way to Mount Nemrut, visit two other historical sites of the Commagene Kingdom as well as Nemrut Mountain.
Visit Septimus Severus (Cendere) Bridge.
Head to Karakuş, a tumulus for the royal family.
Go to Arsemia, the summer resort of the royalty.
Continue to Mount Nemrut and see the sunset from the summit.
At the end of the day, drive back to your hotel in Adıyaman.

Day 02

Göbeklitepe and Şanlıurfa Discovery

Check out from your hotel in Adıyaman and transfer to Göbeklitepe.
On the way, take a short break with a grand view of Atatürk Dam on the Euphrates.
After a coffee and tea break, visit the Göbeklitepe Neolithic site.
Take commemorative photos of the huge monoliths.
Move to the city centre of Şanlıurfa. This metropolitan city is famed as the blessed city of the Christians or the city of Prophets.
Stop by the birthplace of Prophet Abraham, Abraham's Pool, and the old markets of the city.
Visit the city's huge modern Archaeological Museum and gain a better understanding of Mesopotamian culture and history.
Continue to the city's Mosaic Museum, renowned for its depictions of Amazons.
At the end of the day, check in at your hotel or transfer to the airport.
