Peshawar Heritage and Bazaar Tour
- Meet the guide and start the tour at 10:00 am to explore the city of Peshawar.
- Head to the Peshawar Museum, which has a notable collection of Buddhist artwork dating back to the ancient Gandhara Empire.
- Visit Masjid Mahabat Khan, a 17th-century Mughal-era mosque in Peshawar, Pakistan.
- Stroll through the streets and shop at the sarafa/antique bazaar.
- See the Asa Mai Hindu Temple, a 10th-century Hindu temple.
- Go to Dilawar Khan/Gunj Ali Khan, a historical mosque located in the Bazar-e-Kalan.
- Stop for a lunch break and enjoy traditional food: Chappli kebab/mewa, channa rice/peshori, beef tikka/seikh, kebabs/desi, lassy, with dry maize bread + spinach/red beans/chickpeas/local sauce.
- Continue to Gor Gathri Archeological Site or Sarai Jahan Ara, a public park in Peshawar, Pakistan, located within a Mughal-era caravanserai. Stop by the ancient Hindu temple and various city houses.
