Enjoy an 8-day tour to Sri Lanka and experience the country on good quality, air-conditioned, comfortable vehicle with a local driver/guide. Visit the Dambulla cave Temple. It is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. Head to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic (also known as Dalada Maligawa), which houses the relic of the Lord Buddha’s tooth. See a Tea Factory and witness the manufacturing process of the world-famous “Ceylon Tea". Take a half-day jeep safari to Yala National park, the second-largest and the most visited national park on the island.

Day 1 : Arrive at Sigiriya
Upon landing at Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo, you will be met by a tour representative and receive a garland of flowers. Then proceed to Habarana. Check-in at the hotel, and enjoy the rest of the day to relax at your leisure.

Day 2: Polonnaruwa - Minneriya National Park
After breakfast the next morning, you will visit the archaeological city of Polonnaruwa, after this, you can have a nice lunch and then drive to one of the national parks to see a lot of wild elephants afterwards, you will return back to the hotel in Sigiriya to spend the night.

Day 3 : Sigiriya to Kandy
After breakfast, you will visit the famous Sigiriya Rock Fortress. At your request, we can arrange a village tour. After driving to Kandy, on the way visit the spice garden and Hindu temple. Arrived and check in to the hotel in Kandy.

Day 4: Kandy City Tour
Kandy is a major city located in the Central Province, Sri Lanka. It was the last capital of the ancient kings’ era of Sri Lanka. The city lies in the midst of hills in the Kandy plateau, which crosses an area of tropical plantations, mainly tea. Kandy is both an administrative and religious city and is also the capital of the Central Province. Kandy is the home of The Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa).

Day 5: Kandy – Scenic Train to Ella
SCENIC TRAIN TO ELLA The rail ride from Kandy to Ella is known as one of the most scenic train trips in the world. This memorable journey commences from Nagoya; the last royal capital of the country to Ella a peaceful, scenic village in the central highlands of Sri Lanka.

Day 6: Yala National Park Safari
After breakfast visits Little Adam’s Peak, Nine Arch Bridge. After we will depart to Thissamaharama. On the way, we will be visiting the Ravana waterfalls. You will check-in at the hotel in Tissamaharama and in the mid-afternoon, you will leave for a jeep safari in Yala National Park. You will spend the night at the hotel in Tissamaharama.

DAY 7: Yala to Mirissa
In the morning proceed to Mirissa beach. Afternoon relaxes on the beach. Mirissa is one of the main beach destinations in southern Sri Lanka. The area has it all, beautiful beaches, surf waves, whale watching and great bars and restaurants. Mirissa is developing quickly over the last couple of years so it’s also getting more crowded. There are still enough spots where you can enjoy a fresh coconut from your hammock seeing the sunrise. Stay overnight at a hotel in Mirissa.

DAY 8: Whale watching – Galle – Airport
In the morning possibility to go whale watching.
Whale and Dolphin watching in Mirissa are one of the most thrilling water activities in Sri Lanka. The warm waters around Sri Lanka are ideal to spot blue whales, Bryde´s whales, sperm whales, fin whales, common dolphins, bottlenose dolphins and sometimes killer whales. Spinner dolphins, Risso’s dolphins, and striped dolphins can be seen too. The whale watching season starts in November and ends in April when the waters are warm and calm. Whale watching boats can ideally carry up to 40 passengers at a time with an observation deck. Whale watching tours usually start around 7.00 am as boats leave the harbour around that time and last about 3.5- 4 hours.
Afternoon drives to Galle and visits Galle Fort. Galle is the capital city of the Southern Province of Sri Lanka. You will be dropped off at the Bandaranaike International Airport confirming the end of the tour.
