Know before you go

Bad Weather Policy: Come rain or sunshine, the walking tours continue, and you can still have a great day no matter the weather. However, if there is a typhoon or extreme rain, the guides follow the advice issued by the Hong Kong Observatory. This means that the guides cancel all tours if, one hour before the start of the tour, there is a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above, or a Red or Black Rainstorm Warning in effect. In such cases, they will reschedule your tour or offer a full refund. All tours still run at Typhoon Signals No. 1 and No. 3, and under Amber Rainstorm Warnings.

Cancellation Policy: If, for whatever reason, you want to cancel your booked tour, please note the following. Please email your notice to cancel, and the guides will confirm cancellation by email.

  • A 100% refund (excluding the service/tax charges) will be given if you cancel more than 7 days (more than 168 hours) before your tour.
  • A 50% refund (excluding the service/tax charges) will be given if you cancel between 7 days and 2 days (between 167 and 48 hours) before your tour.
  • There are no refunds if you cancel less than 2 days (48 hours) before the start of your tour.
  • There are no refunds if you do not turn up for the tour.

Rescheduling Policy: If you find that your travel plans change or you become ill whilst travelling and wish to reschedule your booked tour, the guides will always do their best to accommodate your request. If they still have availability on the date that you wish to reschedule to, the following rules apply:

  • They can reschedule a tour at no additional cost if you tell them more than 7 days before your tour is due to take place.
  • There will be a 50% rescheduling charge for rescheduled tours with 7 or fewer days' notice.
  • Tours cannot be rescheduled with less than 14 hours' notice.

Rescheduling charges can be paid by credit card via invoice.
