The itinerary

1
Day 01

Arrival in Cairo

  • Our travel representative will be at Cairo International Airport to meet you and transfer you to your hotel in a company-maintained vehicle. We will treat our tourists to a "Welcome" drink at the hotel.
  • Afterwards, the tour guide will assist you with the check-in procedures and present you with the travel schedule to confirm the pick-up timings for each day.

Spend the rest of the night in Cairo to relax and sleep.

Day 02

Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, Memphis, and Saqqara

  • You will be picked up from your hotel by a Luxorprivate tour representative, beginning the Giza Pyramids tour with the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus.
  • Then, proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, which dates back to the time of Chephren, and visit the Valley Temple.
  • Next, drive to visit the Step Pyramid of Zoser in Sakkara, the oldest major stone structure. Then we will go to a restaurant to enjoy a local meal before driving to the magnificent city of Memphis, founded by King Menes, the Old Kingdom capital and the heart of ancient Egypt.

Day 03

Egyptian Museum, Islamic Cairo, and Coptic Cairo

  • On day 3, enjoy a refreshing breakfast at your lodge in Cairo. Our representative will meet you and guide you on a tour of the ancient Egyptian Museum, the place of the treasures of the young ruler Tutankhamun.
  • Afterwards, you will be transferred to Islamic Cairo and Coptic Cairo in a private air-conditioned vehicle, where you will witness the scenes of Cairo's ancient bazaar, Khan El Khalili.
  • Later, transfer back to the hotel in Cairo.

Day 04

Flight to Aswan and Philae Temple

  • Have an early breakfast at the hotel, then transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Aswan.
  • Our representatives will be at Aswan International Airport to receive you, regardless of your flight timing. You will be transferred to your Nile cruise, where our tour representatives will assist you with the check-in procedures.
  • After that, you will board the Nile cruise and enjoy a fulfilling lunch.
  • After lunch, you will go on an Aswan boat trip to Agilika Island and see the Temple of Philae, which was built in the Greco-Roman era and dedicated to the goddess Isis, the mother of Horus.
  • Later, get some rest on the Nile cruise in the evening and enjoy a city tour around Aswan.

Day 05

Abu Simbel, Aswan Dam, and Kom Ombo

  • 03:30 am: Pick up at the lodge in Aswan in a deluxe and comfortable car.
  • Savour a precise team tour in Abu Simbel and travel to the famous Two Temples of Abu Simbel. These sanctuaries are regarded as a stunning success of ancient Egypt and echo the grandeur and magnificence of the New Kingdom.
  • Transfer back and visit the Aswan Dam on the way.
  • 01:30 pm: Have lunch on the Nile cruise as the cruise sails to Kom Ombo Temple.
  • Reach Kom Ombo Temple and explore its twin sanctuaries. The temple gives you insight into the falcon-headed god Horus and the crocodile god Sobek, whose tombstones embellish both halves of the sanctuary.
  • Embark back on the ship for dinner as the cruise moves towards Edfu city.

Day 06

Edfu Temple and Sailing to Luxor

  • Enjoy breakfast on board, then continue the tour to the Horus Temple in Edfu, where you will see the royal temple devoted to Horus, considered the best-maintained temple in Egypt. According to Egyptian beliefs, it is the place where the falcon-headed god Horus avenged the killing of his father, Osiris.
  • Have lunch on board and continue sailing towards Luxor.
  • Reach Luxor by evening.

Day 07

Luxor West Bank Discovery

  • Have a refreshing breakfast, then start the tour to discover the West Bank.
  • Visit the Valley of the Kings and witness the historical tombs of the kings of the New Kingdom.
  • Head to Hatshepsut Temple, the only female temple in Egypt. This sacred architecture was erected by the daughter of Thutmosis I, Egypt's sovereign, who ruled for two decades during the 18th Dynasty (1490-1469 B.C.).
  • Call it a day with a trip to the Colossi of Memnon, considered the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III.
  • Later on, get transferred to the Nile cruise for lunch and enjoy time at the swimming pool.

Day 08

Luxor Temple and Karnak Temples

  • After a refreshing breakfast, your tour guide will pick you up to discover the majestic Temple of Luxor.
  • Afterwards, see some of the greatest sacred monuments in history, including the Karnak Temples, which were constructed as a tribute to the god Amon, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu.
  • Get back to the hotel in Luxor and get some rest.

Day 09

Drive to Hurghada and Red Sea Leisure

  • After breakfast in the morning, you will leave the hotel.
  • Drive for about 4 hours to the Red Sea and see the Hurghada coral reefs. Enjoy diving or fishing, or choose one of the many other activities.
  • You will also enjoy the beach at the Red Sea for 2 days and have a look at the marina at night, with a city tour along Sheraton Road in Hurghada.

Day 10

Free Days in Hurghada

  • For the next three days, we have the freedom to explore Hurghada or simply relax.
    • One option available is to book a local trip to Giftun Island for swimming and snorkelling. Hurghada is well known for its golden beaches and luxury restaurants, and you can also book visits to the Grand Aquarium or Hurghada Museum.
    • Another option is to visit the abandoned city of ghosts in Safaga or explore the city's shopping malls, which are among the most popular in Egypt and offer sales on famous brands. All transportation for this tour is provided in a VIP air-conditioned car.

Day 11

Hurghada to Cairo Departure

  • Have breakfast in your lodge with some time in hand.
  • Finally, be transferred to Hurghada Airport to take your flight to Cairo and then your international flight back home.
