• Meet your guide at Addis Ababa Airport.
• Drive to the hotel for breakfast and some time to refresh.
• Drive to the highlands of Entoto, the previous capital city of Ethiopia before Addis Ababa was established.
• Enjoy the view of Addis from the viewpoint at the top of Entoto.
• Visit the palace of Menelik and Empress Tayitu, the then king and queen.
• Visit Entoto Museum to see the royal treasures and artifacts inside.
• Drive to the Ethnographic Museum to see the artifacts and household equipment of different ethnic groups, as well as the bedroom of Emperor Haile Selassie, the last king of Ethiopia.
• Go to the National Museum to see the famous Lucy (Dinkinesh), one of the earliest ancestors who lived around 3.2 million years ago.
• Have lunch at Lucy Gazebo Restaurant, situated near the compound.
• After lunch, visit Holy Trinity Cathedral, where the remains of Emperor Haile Selassie, the last king of Ethiopia, and his wife are found.
• Overnight in an Addis Ababa hotel.

• In the morning, take the flight from Addis Ababa to Bahir Dar.
• Take a one-and-a-half-hour drive to visit Blue Nile Falls.
• After visiting the Blue Nile Falls, drive back to Bahir Dar for a lunch break.
• Take a boat trip to see the ancient churches on the islands of Lake Tana.
• Drive to Bahir Dar.

Overnight in Bahir Dar.

• Drive to Gondar. It will take about 3 hours to arrive in the town of Gondar.
• On the way, visit the town of Guzara and the previous palace built by Emperor Fasil.
• Drive to Gondar town to visit the Fasilides compound palaces and Debre Birhan Selassie Church.
• Overnight in Gondar.

• Drive to Debark town and visit Simien National Park.
• See endemic mammals such as Gelada baboons, Walia ibex, cliff springer, and African red wolf.
• Head back to Gondar to take a flight to Axum.

• Arrive in Axum and visit the Obelisks of Axum, which are symbols of the great civilizations of the empire.
• The obelisks also serve as grave markers for previous rulers such as King Kaleb and his predecessors.
• Visit the museum of Axum, which contains many archaeological findings and royal treasures.
• Head to Axum Zion Mariam, which is a sanctuary for the Ark of the Covenant.
• Overnight in Axum.
• Drive to the airport to take a flight to Lalibela.

• After arrival in Lalibela, have lunch and take a break.
• Visit part one of the wonders of the world, the rock-hewn churches of Lalibela, carved from a single stone 900 years ago.
• Overnight in Lalibela.

• Visit Asheton Mariam Monastery Church, situated in the highlands.
• Ride mules to reach the top.
• Lunch break.
• Visit the second part of the Lalibela rock-hewn churches.
• Overnight in Lalibela.

• Transfer from Lalibela Airport to fly to Addis Ababa.
• Arrive in Addis and enjoy a farewell dinner party.
• End of the program.
