Day 01

Fatehpur Sikri and Chand Baori Excursion from Agra

Pick up by an English-speaking driver from Agra Airport, Railway Station, Bus Station, or your hotel in Agra.
Head to Fatehpur Sikri. The dynastic architecture of Fatehpur Sikri was modelled on Timurid forms and styles. The city was built on a massive scale, primarily with red sandstone.
Enter through one of the many gates along the 8-km-long fort wall: Delhi Gate, Lal Gate, Agra Gate, Birbal's Gate, Chandanpal Gate, Gwalior Gate, Tehra Gate, Chor Gate, and Ajmeri Gate.
See the summer palace and winter palace of Queen Jodha.
After that, continue to Chand Baori. Chand Baori is a stepwell built over a thousand years ago in the Abhaneri village of Rajasthan. It is one of the largest stepwells in the world and also one of the most beautiful.
