Day 01

Uyuni Salt Flats, Colchani and Sunset Experience

• Start your tour at 10:30 am with a drive out to the Uyuni Salt Flats.
• Your first stop is the haunting Train Graveyard, found on the outskirts of Uyuni.
• See the first locomotives in Bolivia and learn about their history, which once connected several major cities. Now corroded over time by the strong salt winds that sweep through this desert area, they create a great setting for photos.
• Visit the small settlement of Colchani, where salt miners' workshops sit next to the salt flats. Find handicrafts made of salt and textile art manufactured from llama and alpaca wool. These make excellent souvenirs to bring back home.
• Take photos as you cruise along the vast white expanse of salt, wade through

• Important: Due to the rainy season (from January to March), it is not possible to access Incahuasi Island. However, there is the possibility of visiting the island if it does not rain on the day of your tour.
• This tour is perfectly tailored for all arrivals in Uyuni, by bus or by plane. The operator's office is only 5 minutes away by taxi from the bus terminal and the airport.
