Day 01

Prahova Valley, Peles Castle and Brasov

Spend the first day in Prahova Valley, in the Carpathian Mountains.
Visit Peles Castle, the Royal summer residence.
Visit Dracula Castle in Bran, a symbol of Romania.
Visit Brasov, a medieval city settled by German colonists.

Day 02

Sighisoara, Prejmer and Sibiu

Depart from Brasov.
Head to Sighisoara, one of the most beautiful, best-preserved, and still inhabited medieval citadels in Europe. It is known as the birthplace of Prince Vlad the Impaler, whose story was turned into the legend of Count Dracula by Bram Stoker.
Visit Prejmer fortified church, a UNESCO Heritage site.
Head to Sibiu, the European Cultural Capital in 2007.
