Through the Carpathians to Brasov and Sighisoara
- The first day will take you through the Carpathian valleys, with stops at the stunning Peles Castle - the former royal summer residence - and Rasnov, a splendid fortified citadel from the 15th century. You will then explore the lovely Old Town of Brasov, a medieval city founded by German colonists in the 13th century, before finishing the day in Sighisoara, one of the most beautiful, best-preserved, and still inhabited medieval citadels in Europe. This is the birthplace of the famous Count Dracula, and you will have the chance to visit his house.
