The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Zanzibar and Transfer to Stone Town

• Arrive at Zanzibar airport/harbor.
• Transfer to your Stone Town hotel and check in.

Day 02

Stone Town Tour and Spice Experience

• Start the Stone Town tour in the morning at 09:00 am.
• Take a Stone Town city tour around Zanzibar town, with its century-old history.
• Visit the former slave market site, which now stands as an Anglican church built in 1871.
• Visit the Zanzibar Memorial Museum, the House of Wonder built in 1883 (Beit-Al-Ajab), the old Arab Fort, the Palace Museum, and the Old Indian Dispensary (cultural center), then continue to the Maruhubi Palace ruins via Living Stone House.
• Start the Spice Tour in the afternoon at 2:00 pm.
• Taste tropical fruits and visit the spice plantations on the island. See a variety of spice plants and other interesting flora during the Spice Tour.
• Visit the Kidichi Bath, built in 1850 by the first Sultan for his wife Sheharzad (granddaughter of Fateh Ali Shah of Persia).
• Transfer to the harbor/airport for departure.

Day 03

Safari Blue Dhow Cruise in Menai Bay

• Start the Safari Blue tour at 9:00 am.
• Enjoy a full day of sailing, snorkeling, and sunbathing on a traditional dhow.
• Set sail from Fumba and explore Menai Bay, where dolphins are often sighted.
• Drop anchor at Kwale sandbank and snorkel in the coral reefs.
• Enjoy a buffet of grilled fish, lobster, calamari, chicken, and coconut rice at Kwale Island.
• Sail to a stunning natural lagoon and enjoy a swim before the day is over.

Day 04

Prison Island Excursion and Departure

• Start the trip at 9:00 am to Prison Island, home of Aldabra Giant Tortoises.
• Flanked by an amazing beach and reef sanctuary, the island is ideal for swimming, snorkeling, and beach relaxation.
• Return to Stone Town at 2:00 pm.
• Transfer to the harbor/airport for departure.
