The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival and Stone Town City Tour

Arrive at Zanzibar airport/harbour and transfer to the Stone Town hotel for check-in.
Take a Stone Town city tour around Zanzibar town, known for its century-old history.
Visit the former slave market site, which now stands as an Anglican church built in 1871.
Visit the Zanzibar Memorial Museum, the House of Wonder built in 1883 (Beit-Al-Ajab), the old Arab Fort, the Palace Museum, and the Old Indian Dispensary (cultural center), as well as the Maruhubi Palace ruins via Living Stone House.

Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 02

Spice Tour and Departure

Start the Spice Tour at 8:30 am.
Taste tropical fruits and visit the island's spice plantations. See a variety of spice plants and other interesting flora during the tour.
Visit the Kidichi bath, built in 1850 by the first Sultan for his wife Sheharzad, granddaughter of Fateh Ali Shah of Persia.
Transfer to the harbour/airport for departure.

The route
