07:30 Departure from your Hotel in Paris by our comfortable air conditioned Mercedes minivan. There is 290 km to drive on a highway from Paris to Ghent. It takes around 3,5 hours. After a 1,5 hours drive a short stop at the rest area will be made.

11:00 Arrival in Ghent. Audio-guided river boat

11:00 Arrival in Ghent. Audio-guided river boat cruise of about 40 minutes. It will give You a lot of information and impressions about Ghent which is the capital and largest city of East Flanders, as well as the second seaport of Belgium. Ghent became a major settlement by the seventh century. You will get acquainted with the numerous monuments of the middle ages: the Cathedral of St. Nicholas, founded in 1038 and built until the beginning of the XII century, Beffroy, the tower of the city Council, 118 m high, which was built since 1377 and attached to it cloth rows, built-in 1445, the Church of our lady and St. Peter.  Free time in Ghent.
