Itinerary

1. Visit Concha y Toro Vineyard

   • An exciting and unforgettable experience! Join us for our whitewater adventure in the Andes Mountains.
   • We start the day with a visit to Concha y Toro Wine Vineyard in the picturesque town of Pirque for a tour and wine tasting.  The internationally-renowned Concha y Toro Vineyard dates back to 1883. The founder was Don Melchor Concha y Toro who brought the first vines that were planted from the Bordeaux region in France to Chile and grew prosperously in the Maipo River basin. Walk around the gardens of the summer residence of the Concha y Toro family, discover the variety garden, visit their cellars and taste a selection of three of their fine wines.

2. Whitewater Rafting Experience

   • Afterwards, we will have time for lunch (not included) at a quaint restaurant in the Andean village of San Jose de Maipo.
   • In the afternoon, we will enjoy a 50-minute continuous succession of whitewater rapids, the longest rafting experience on the Maipo River.  An exciting adventure with class 3 and 4 rapids, spectacular Andes Mountains scenery, and relentless heart-pumping whitewater, the Maipo River has been consistently rated one of Chile’s best rafting rivers and is a “must do” activity if you are visiting the Cajon del Maipo Valley.  For sure one of the most exhilarating activities you will enjoy while visiting Chile, this whitewater rafting adventure delivers an unforgettable journey into Chile’s river wilderness. For those traveling to Chile with a thirst for adventure, this is a tour not to be missed! There is no experience needed to join this rafting trip.
