4-Day Chiapas Cultural Tour with Sumidero Canyon Boat Ride

• Welcome to Chiapas! We will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to the Grand Maria Hotel in San Cristóbal de las Casas.

Overnight stay at the hotel.

• Pick up from the hotel reception in the morning and begin our transfer to the indigenous community of San Juan Chamula, where we will get to know the church and its religious traditions.
• We will visit the pantheon and then move to Zinacantán to visit its church and a family from the community, where you will learn how they make their typical clothes on a backstrap loom and savour a bite of their traditional cuisine.
• Continuing with the tour, we go to the centre of the city of San Cristóbal de las Casas, where there will be time for lunch and for walking through the squares and walkways of this beautiful city.

Overnight stay in San Cristóbal, at the Grand Maria Hotel.

• Pick up from the hotel reception and travel to the magical town of Chiapa de Corzo, then take a boat to the impressive Sumidero Canyon. The boat tour will last approximately 2 hours.
• You will be able to observe a great diversity of flora and fauna of the region, great waterfalls, caves, and the majestic canyon. You will then return to Chiapa de Corzo, where you will have time to see the Mudejar-style fountain, the Church of Santo Domingo, and buy crafts made in the region.
• At the end of the tour, you will be given time to eat. We will leave at 2:30 pm from Chiapa de Corzo to arrive at approximately 4:00 pm in San Cristóbal de las Casas.

• Transfer from the hotel in San Cristóbal to the airport.
• We will pick you up at your hotel and drop you at Angel Albino Corzo Airport in Tuxtla Gutiérrez.
