Alexandria Highlights Day Tour from Cairo

• Pick up and transfer across 220 km of the Western Desert from Cairo to Alexandria. The transfer takes about 3 hours. Be led throughout the city by a guide who can answer all of your questions and show you some of the city's most amazing sights.
• Visit the Montazah Summer Palace and walk around and enjoy the Montazah gardens, originally built in 1892.
• Enjoy lunch at your own leisure on the Corniche overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
• Visit the fort and Citadel of Qaitbay, which was built around 1480. It is believed to stand on the site and be built from the stones of the Pharos lighthouse.
• The tour ends with a visit to the Catacomb of Kom El Shoqafa. This warren of tombs, chambers, and hallways occupies the largest known Roman burial site in Egypt.
