Day 01

Bratislava Castle and Danube Night Walk

• 20:00 - Meet in front of the main entrance to the hotel reception of Park Inn by Radisson Danube Hotel, Rybne Namestie 1, Bratislava.
• Have a short introduction to Slovakia and Bratislava before starting the tour.
  • Walk up the hill to Bratislava Castle - a symbol and dominant feature of Bratislava, standing at a strategic site above the Danube. The site was inhabited as far back as Celtic and Great Moravian times. The castle was also the venue for the summit of Mr George W. Bush and Mr Vladimir Putin in February 2005. Enjoy a superb view of the historical city centre of Bratislava.
  • Continue walking down through the historical settlements below Bratislava Castle and arrive at the Slovak National Theatre and the Reduta, home of the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra.
  • Cross the Danube River.
  • Arrive at the UFO observation deck.
• 22:00 - The tour ends at the UFO observation deck, followed by a drink at the bar.
