Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
- Pick up at 0630 hrs and head to Amboseli via Ostrich Farm in Kitengela. A short stopover for use of washrooms will be available. Later, check in for lunch, dinner, and an overnight stay at Kibo Safari Lodge.
- An evening game drive will be conducted from 1630 hrs - 1800 hrs. Have dinner and rest for the night.
- Amboseli National Park is famously known as the "land of Jumbos" due to the big herds of African elephants moving around the park. The word "Amboseli" is a Maasai word meaning "a place of salty dust". The park lies on the foothills of the tallest mountain in Africa, Mt. Kilimanjaro. You may be lucky enough to see the three peaks of Kilimanjaro early in the morning or evening, and sometimes during the day when the atmosphere is not cloudy. You could also have the chance to see the other "big three" animals of Kenya: the lion, leopard, and Cape buffalo. The rare kudu gazelles can also be spotted at times.
