Neva River Night Cruise and Palace Bridge Opening
Meet your guide at your hotel anywhere in Saint Petersburg at 23:00 and start the tour.
Head to the quay and step aboard your comfortable sightseeing boat. As you ride along the Neva, watch the many prominent Saint Petersburg attractions that flank its waters. See the Peter and Paul Fortress, the city's first building, and sail past other magnificent landmarks. Take photos of the Summer Garden with its marble statues and of the Aurora, the 19th-century battleship that fired the first shot of the October 1917 Russian Revolution - a blast that signalled the revolutionaries to storm the Winter Palace.
Catch a glimpse of the ornate Mariinsky Theatre and pass sights including New Holland Island, St Nicholas Naval Cathedral, and St Isaac's Cathedral, the amazing Russian Orthodox church topped by a gleaming gold dome.
Finally, the boat passes by the Hermitage and stops in front of Palace Bridge, where you can enjoy one of the most beautiful views of the bridge opening in Saint Petersburg. The boat then returns to the original departure jetty, where the tour ends.
