9-Day Kenya Safari from Nairobi with Samburu, Naivasha and Masai Mara

• Meet your guides on arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
• Transfer to your city hotel for your accommodation. The rest of the day is spent at leisure.

• After breakfast, drive north through the heart of central Kenya to Samburu Game Reserve, with a brief stop at the Equator, where you may do a simple water test to ascertain the magnetic effect on the northern and southern sphere.
• Continue to Samburu, set in the rugged semi-arid northern region with a spectacular scenic landscape. Arrive in time for lunch at your preferred choice of accommodation, followed by some leisure time.
• Later in the afternoon, head out on an exciting game-viewing drive.
• Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

• Spend the whole day in Samburu Game Reserve with morning and afternoon game-viewing drives. See the Ewaso Nyiro River as it meanders through the reserve.

• After an early breakfast, set off on your drive as you head to Nanyuki. On your way, you might be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of animals that may have eluded you.
• Drive to Aberdare Country Club near Nyeri town. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge and some leisure time.
• Later in the afternoon, drive to The Ark, where you stay for one night at the tree hotel within the heart of Aberdare National Park. Spot game from the balconies of your lodge.

Dinner and overnight.

The Ark: FB

• After breakfast, transfer to Aberdare Country Club to join your safari driver for your trip to Naivasha.
• Arrive in time for lunch. After a brief rest, proceed on an afternoon game drive before returning to your camp for dinner and overnight.

• Wake up early, and after a cup of coffee, embark on an early morning game drive.
• Later, return to the camp for breakfast and check out. Drive out of the park as you head towards Naivasha, arriving in time for lunch.
• Head out to Lake Naivasha for a boat ride around the lake. If time allows, you can take a walk with the animals at Crescent Island.

• Have an early breakfast. Depart for the famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve.
• Arrive in time for lunch at your camp. Spend the early afternoon at leisure and embark on a late afternoon game-viewing drive. All meals and overnight are at the camp.

Base Camp Mara or similar

• Spend the whole day in Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game-viewing drives searching for the 'Big Five'. Masai Mara is the northernmost extension of the Serengeti Plains and one of the richest wildlife game reserves. It is home to the awesome black-manned lion, the elusive leopard, stately giraffes, the vast bulk of elephants, rhinos, thundering herds of zebra, migrating wildebeests, and numerous other plains game.

Return to your lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.

• After a sumptuous breakfast, check out and drive back to Nairobi.
