The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Colombo and Visit to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage

Get picked up from Colombo Airport and drive to Kandy.
On the way, visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage.

Overnight in Kandy.

Day 02

Knuckles Valley Trekking and Jungle Camping

Start at 7 am and head towards the Knuckles Valley. Pass tea estates, waterfalls, panoramic scenery, pygmy rainforests, and cloudy forest. Watch many varieties of birds and animals at the same time.
Spend the night in a jungle camp and enjoy a BBQ dinner.

Day 03

Tea Plantations and Waterfalls around Kandy

Start climbing downhill through tea plantations and continue on a medium trek, passing sparkling waterfalls along the way to enjoy.
Drop off at your hotel in Kandy by the evening.

Day 04

White-Water Rafting in Kitulgala and Transfer to Nuwara Eliya

Travel to Kitulgala and enjoy white-water rafting. If you are above 10 years of age, you can experience rafting on the Kelani River. It includes about 5 km of still water, and another 5 km covers major and minor rapids.
In the evening, drive to Nuwara Eliya and stay overnight.

Day 05

Horton Plains, World's End, Baker's Falls, and Ella

The journey begins at 5 a.m. with a drive to Horton Plains, the highest plain, where you will follow a 9 km circular walking track.
Visit the World's End viewpoint, the most iconic place from where you can see as far as the south coast of Sri Lanka.
Make your way to Baker's Falls, another eye-catching sight.
Drive to your hotel in Ella and visit Little Adam's Peak, the perfect place to watch the sunset.

Day 06

Ella to Tissamaharama with Ravana Falls and Yala Safari

Drive to Tissamaharama. Soon after passing Ella, you can see the wonderful Ravana Ella waterfall. Ravana Ella is the widest waterfall in Sri Lanka.
By 1:30 p.m., join the Yala safari, an interesting and very popular experience among tourists, as Yala is the second-largest wildlife reserve in Sri Lanka. It contains one of the highest densities of leopard population in a national park anywhere in the world.
