Day 01

Kandy to Ambuluwawa and Nuwara Eliya

• Pick up at 8.00 a.m. from your hotel in Kandy and drive straight to Ambuluwawa, a green hilly area rich in biodiversity. At the top of the mountain stands a human-made viewpoint tower, approximately 48 metres high, offering a 360-degree viewing gallery.
• Behold the scenic landscapes and waterfalls as you travel to Nuwara Eliya. The upland tea estates are highly remarkable here, and massive land areas are dedicated to high-grown upland tea plantations.
• Your next stop is Macwoods Tea Factory, where the entire tea-processing method and the different tea varieties are explained according to taste and quality. You can also purchase fresh tea products from the factory outlet.
• The first day's journey pauses in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 02

Horton Plains Trek and Drop-off in Ella

• Begin at 5.00 a.m. and drive to Horton Plains, the highest plain in Sri Lanka. Here, you will follow a 9 km circular walking track, which takes more than 3-4 hours.
• World's End viewpoint is the most iconic place here, and from this dramatic escarpment you can see as far as the south coast of Sri Lanka.
• Baker's Falls is another eye-catching sight along the route.
• After the visit, drive to a hotel in Ella.
