Itinerary

1. Airport - Negombo

   Pick up from the airport and drive to Negombo. See the highest fish market and relax on the beach. Overnight stay at Goldi Sands or similar hotel in Negombo.

2. Negombo - Kalpitiya

   Drive straight to Kalpitiya beach, which is world-famous for kite surfing and. Overnight stay at Wind Blend Kite Resort or similar hotel in Kalpitiya.

3. Kalpitiya - Anuradhapura

   Drive straight to Anuradhapura, the ex-capital of Sri Lanka from 5 B.C. to 1017 A.D. The most sacred “Bo Tree” which was sheltered to the lord buddha during his enlightment and lord buddha hast retreated by gazing at the bo tree for seven weeks, is grown in Anuradhapura.

   It is known to be the world’s largest and the oldest human-made brick building stands still is the jethawanarama pagoda. Also including an archaeological museum, ruvanvelisaya dagoba, abhayagiri dagoba, brazen palace, royal palace, samadhi buddha statue, kuttam pokuna, moonstone, tanks etc. are some of the remarkable ancient creations which exhibit the proud history of the Anuradhapura kingdom. 4. Anuradhapura - Sigiriya - Dambulla

   You can dedicate whole evening to visit the eight world wonder of Sigiriya royal palace. You will be the witness of marvellous landscapes, irrigation technology and aesthetic abilities of ancient Sinhalese culture.

5. Dambulla - Kandy

   Drive to Kandy and visit the largest royal botanical garden covered by colourful flower plants, herbal plants, endemic and epidemic plant species and palm family trees; all-inclusive, more than 4000 varieties can be seen here. Then you will be heading to the viewpoint of Kandy. Enjoy Kandyan dancing event in the evening between 5.00 p.m. - 6.00 p.m. Finally, visit the temple of the tooth relic. 6. Kandy - Knuckles Valley

   Begin early morning for Knuckles Valley. Pass tea estates, waterfalls, panoramic scenarios, pigmy rain and cloudy forest. Also, you can watch many bird varieties and animals at the same time. Spend the night in a jungle camp, and you are served BBQ for dinner.

7. Knuckles Valley - Kandy

   Start climbing downhill through tea plantations and passing medium tracking, there are sparkling waterfalls on the way to enjoy. You are dropped back to your hotel in Kandy by the evening. Overnight stay at hotel Queens or similar hotel in Kandy.

8. Kandy - Nuwara Eliya

   Travel to Kitulgala and enjoy water rafting. If you are above 10 years of age, you can experience water rafting in the Kelani River at Kitulagala in Sri Lanka. 9. Nuwara Eliya - Ella

   Drive to Horton Plains, the highest plain and 9 km circular walking track. The worlds end viewpoint is the most iconic place to see up to the south coast of Sri Lanka from worlds end. The Bakers fall another eye-catching scenery as well. Then, drive to the hotel in Ella. As you walk for about 30 minutes towards the train track, you can see nine arch bridge. 10. Ella - Tissamaharama

    Drive to Tissamaharama. You can see wonderful Rawana Ella waterfall soon after passing Ella. Rawana Ella is the widest fall in Sri Lanka. It is more attractive. By 1.30 p.m., you can join Yala safari, an interesting and most popular event among tourists as Yala is the second largest wildlife reservoir in Sri Lanka. It contains a higher density of leopards population a national park in the world. If you are lucky, you can catch leopards. Overnight stay at EKHO Safari or similar hotel in Tissamaharama.

11. Tissamaharama - Unawatuna

    Drive to Unawatuna. On your way, you can see Hummanaya blowhole and turtle hatchery. Hummanaya blow hole which pumps seawater up to 40 feet from a natural hole between two closest rocks and splints water into the sky. Overnight stays at Coco Bay or a similar hotel in Unawatuna.

12. Unawatuna - Mirissa - Unawatuna

    Drive to Mirissa. Dolphins and whales watching tour begins at 6.00 a.m. and nearly you will have to spend 04 hours completely. Next, you can see still fishing and drive to world heritage “Galle Fort” which was built by Portuguese and was reconstructed during the Dutch period, Overnight stay at Coco Bay or similar hotel in Unawatuna.

13. Unawatuna - Hikkaduwa - Bentota

    Firstly, see the coral reefs and enjoy scuba diving and snorkelling under well-experienced professionals' safety supervision. Hikkaduwa coastal area is most suitable for surfing during November to April months. In the evening you can enjoy Madhu riverboat safari and get natural fish therapy for self-relaxing. 14. Bentota - Airport
